If you are making an effort to be gentle and attentive with your children, but your inner voice is not gentle and attentive toward you… it is so exhausting to try to use the “right tools” when the heart is flooded, and then to feel guilt afterward for having reacted in anger. You do not need another theory about parenting; you need a safe space in which to practice listening and compassion – first and foremost toward yourselves.
This group was created to turn this journey into a journey of growth—together.
It is a practical course, shaped together with its participants, in response to your needs and challenges.
This is not a series of lectures; it is a laboratory for real life—we will not study theory alone, but work with the real conflicts that happened at home this very morning, and practice ways and tools that help us stay connected to the heart when things get tough.
The goal is not to leave with a notebook full of summaries, but with a felt sense of change and tools that truly take root in everyday life.
The course weaves together teachings from the world of Nonviolent Communication (developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg) with the approach of “Miraculous parenting” (by Shai Orr).
This combination allows for a deep, compassionate, and insightful way of seeing our humanity, alongside practical, applicable tools for creating transformation in how we see, relate to, and respond—to ourselves and to our children.
Learning as part of a supportive group enables us to go deeper and to practice a language and a path that can turn the parenting journey, with all its gifts and challenges, into a journey of growth, healing, and development.
It is not only about parenting, it's about coming closer, and more loving with who you are.

Hi, I’m Noa.
I’m not here to teach you what is right or wrong in raising children.
I’m here to support the parts within you for whom something “isn’t working” and who are asking for a response. I know firsthand the challenges of parenting, the constant search for balance between caring for our children and tending to our own needs.
Through NVC, and the approach of “Miraculous parenting,” and working with the inner child as well as the benevolent inner adult, we will learn together to decipher what your children—outer and inner—are truly asking for.
I've been learning and sharing NVC since 2014
Facilitating group processes since 2010, worked as a teacher and educator in alternative pre-schools from 2007 and I remember being busy with the parent I would like to be, since she was a child (1984, to be precise).

The course includes:
8 intimate group Sessions
We meet every week at ahomey studio between Sintra and Ericeira
each session is 3 and 1/2 hours
we learn the tools and the essence of the approach, and hands-on practice

Practice in a safe container
We practice in small groups, each with challenges from our own life, and support each other through our practicing - in this way we actually practice the art of parenting ourselves and others in a nourishing way, within a safe container

Our own community space will be available to you throughout the course -
you can drop in at your own pace -

This course gives the foundations, language and tools, and as life keeps bringing new challenges, we need to keep finding our way to integrate what we've learnt into our own life to our own style and family.

So we can stay connected and keep learning together
It includes:
- The possibilty to ask about any topic regarding our learning, receiving answers
from the community and from Noa
- A monthly online session that will address questions that came up
- A library of video and written content
- Community chats
- Question and answers threads you can search through
Practicalities
The next 8 weeks IN-person course will open on February 2nd
From 11am to 14:30 (Portugal time)
Pricing
The course is offered for a sliding scale price -
from 360eu to 720eu
This means that you can choose the price you will pay, based on your financial abilities and wish to contribute - both to the team and to the other participants.
In this way, we can allow participants from different income levels to join, trusting that each one will give what they can.
Also - we wouldn't want money to be the barrier for your participation
If money is currently an issue for you, please reach out! We can find a way - if you come from a country with lower income, we are happy to search for a price that will make it possible for us all.
If you need to pay in a later time - that can be done as well.
